IT WAS … DIFFERENT!

Buzz Feed News posted a funny video about a month ago, which quickly became popular! It has been watched more than 3 million times! On this video they showed, how the Americans react seeing & trying Russian Cuisine for the first time in their life :)     As you can tell the food they tried was very … hmmm … different, that's the right word! Different for them :) Yes, these two countries are very different and so is their cuisine. But let us have a closer look – maybe we will be able to spot a few similarities as well. First of all, you could be surprised, but a very important place in Russian cuisine belongs to … sour cream, which is one of favorite garnishes in America! The difference is that Americans use it as a dip or condiment when Russians bake cakes with it and put it into hot soups to make them COOLer in both senses :) We are going to talk about other similarities in the coming posts and you will definitely want to TRY it for YOURSELF!
